This was the scene in September 2006. An unloved green space, ready for renewal.
With the help of a grant from Greenwich Pride Award Schemes, a team of local volunteers, the goodwill of Greenwich Council employees, donations from Coblands Nurseries, Wickes, Homebase and The North Pole, work got underway....
